There is quite the process to these, but they are delicious.
If you LOVE peanut butter and chocolate as much as me, you will love these!
These are different that the ones with rice krispies, so if you don’t like those ones, try these!
This is another Pinterest recipe, and I stared at this, intimidated because it’s a lot of work.
But I decided to try. It IS a lot of work, but they are worth it!
And it makes a ton, so be prepared to share!
3lbs powdered sugar
1 lb margarine
4 cups peanut butter
3 packages chocolate chips
1/3 cake paraffin wax
(I didn’t use paraffin wax. Instead I added a spoonful of
crisco to give it what smooth shiny look and it worked just fine.)
Heat the chocolate chips and paraffin wax in a double boiler until they melt. (I melted them in the microwave, but make sure you stir it about every 30 seconds or the chocolate will burn!)
Combine the powdered sugar, margarine, and peanut butter in a large bowl and mix them with your hands until everything is well blended.
Chill for 1/2 hour. Roll the dough into balls and chill them.
Then, dip the balls into the melted chocolate, and cool them on wax paper.
Store the peanut butter balls in the refrigerator
