I’ve made no secret of it, I’m trying to be a healthier person. I am exercising every single day and I am making good food choices every single day. And it is not only about healthy meals. There is a lot more to it than Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Snacking has been a huge part of my weight gain over the years. And the saltier the better. Chips, crackers, you name, I’ve ate it.
But now I have really been looking for some new snacks that are easy and I can grab and eat while I’m sitting back to relax and read a book. Or when I am running late and heading out the door. And I certainly don’t want to be reaching my hand into a greasy bag of chips!
I headed to Target to pick up these ZonePerfect Perfectly Simple granola bars. They come is four delicious flavors like:
Roasted Cashew and Dark Chocolate
Oatmeal Chocolate Chunk
Almond Toffee Crunch
Bing Cherry and Almond
And with high fiber, and less than 200 calories in each bar, these are something I can get on board with. And for those needing Gluten Free, they are that too!
The kids were super excited to get to help me do a taste test and we opened the toffee one first. I thought it was really good. And all three kids shoveled it down.
Then we went for the cherry. I thought it was pretty good, and Summer didn’t like it at all. But Tyler was more than willing to eat our share! He finished it off for us.
Now, It’s time to grab my book, grab my Perfectly Simple bar and relax and that is something I can #feelgooder about.
