Anyone that is a parent knows how hard it is to sneak in a date night. 3 kids later it’s even harder. Not to mention one little girl who loves her mama and lately has some pretty intense separation anxiety. But Travis and I have been trying hard to get out one night per month and it had been going pretty well, though, the last couple of months have just flat out been busy and that is why it’s so nice to have a date night in.
There are so many date night ideas that it’s easy to find something we can do after the kids are tucked into their beds. Thanks to #CollectiveBias and #KYdatenight I headed to Walmart to make a fun date night in basket for Travis for Valentine’s Day. It’s always been one of my favorite holidays, because I love Love. I know, I know, it’s cheesy, but I do. I love cuddling up with my husband on the couch with a blanket, some candy and a good movie. (I really wish it happened more often!)
So here is what I’ve put together!
Wine (not only delicious, but cheap!)
apple strudel wax cubes
KY Couple Lubricants (hubba hubba)
Add a movie and we have a great start to a date night at home.
One really cool thing about the KY Yours+Mine is it came with a coupon for Plated (where you can order food) and VUDU (where you can rent movies). What a great idea! Anything to make our date night in go a little smoother works for me.
Thanks again to #CollectiveBias and #KYdatenight for a great Date Night In!
