So you can imagine my surprise when we got our blog "assignments" and there I was, Life as I know it, the BIG blog, about to be mentoring a little blog.
It sure came as a surprise, but in a good way, and I was excited to give it a shot. I really was wondering what questions this blogger was going to have, and what help I might be able to offer. After all, I that I was going to be a "little".
I headed off to check out The Interior Frugalista.
I looked over Marie's blog, jotting down my few first initial thoughts and then opened up a new message to send her. After a million kid interruptions I noticed I already had a message from Marie saying hello. We talked about our blogging goals and what we were looking for in this process.
I spent more time looking over Marie's blog, full of DIY projects, crafts, makeovers, etc. looking for was to update it, make it more current, and clean it up.
We stayed in contact through the full process and I feel like I did my best to answer her questions. And her blog is looking great! (Thanks Marie for being open to my thoughts and ideas!)
One thing about reviewing someone elses blog, is that it really made me look my own over, looking for things that could use changing, updating or cleaned up as well. Marie was also able to help me with some interior decorating questions/ideas I was pushing around.
I really enjoyed my first round of blogging Bigs and Littles. All in all I felt like I came away from this process a new blogger, fresh with ideas and with a new friend. I look forward to what Marie has to come with The Interior Frugalista and I hope you'll go check out her blog!
