- It is actually completed before the holiday it is representing
- It turned out pretty darn cute! Right?
So I thought I would share how I made this really simple Red, White and Blue wreath!
First, I grabbed this wire wreath from Walmart. It was only $1.97! My intention was to spray paint it white, but as you can see in the above picture, that didn't happen as I forgot the white spray paint and I decided it wasn't that big of deal. But sometime this summer I will spray paint it because I do want it to blend in a little rather than have the green wire showing!
Next, I painted each of my clothes pins. I got these at Walmart and I think they were a dollar something for a HUGE pack! Realistically I could have saved myself a little time by spray painting these, but hand painted really didn't take that long. I made 25 Red, 25 White and 11 blue. I also had this "G" laying around the house and I was waiting to find the perfect place for it and it just hadn't happened so I decided to paint it blue too. But then I had to figure out how it was going to attach to my wreath!
I ended up just using a piece of twine to tie it all together and it seemed to work out ok!
So what do you think of the wreath? Pretty cute, right?
Awesome wreath.
